Please Read!

Greetings,

As you know, Monday March 31st is the start of fourth quarter. Please make sure you demonstrate hard work, persistence, and integrity. Many of you have asked, "How do I improve?" While there may be some need to better learn content knowledge or practice certain strategies that pertain to English class, the majority of your academic struggle seems to be due to not praticing the basics. The basics are as stands:
1. Come to class. If you are absent, I can't teach you.
2. Come on time. If you are late, you miss silent reading and warm up, not to mention interrupting out class.
3. Focus in class. If you are not focused, you are not learning, and your classwork grade goes down.
4. Ask questions/Participate. If you don't show intellectual curosity, participate in class discussion, and check your understanding, you are not getting all you can out of your education.
5. Do your howework. If you don't write your homwork down, you will most likely not remember it. If you do not do your homework well, your homework grade goes down.
6. Do your make-up work on time. If you are absent, come to this website and do your make-up work and turn it in in a timely manner.
