Classwork: Complete the Story Title, Characters, and Setting sections of your Synthesis Notes. You will have to get this handout in class. Answer the following questions on the back. Why is the story title important? What purpose does it serve? How does an author create characters? Why does Harper Lee choose this setting for the book? Why is setting important?

HW: Finish "Interactive Notes" from last class and complete the worksheet on Story Title, Characters, and Setting. You will have to get both handouts in class.

Classwork: (1)Revision of Synthesis Notes. You may go to the analysis section of sparknotes and check that your notes are adequate and accurate. You will have to do your own research of this information.
