Classwork: We continued our Synthesis Notes and completed the categories of Theme, Plot, and Style. You must get these notes from a classmate. On the back of the Synthesis Notes we answered these questions: Why is having a theme important? What examples can you find in the novel that support the theme of social inequality or another theme mentioned? Where are we in the plot so far: Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, or Resolution? Predict what the outcome of the novel will be. Finally, If you were to interview the author, what questions would you ask Harper Lee about her style (dialogue, imagery, symbols, etc.)?
