Silent Reading- Read TKAM for 6 minutes. Write 1 paragraph summary in journal.
Classwork: We continued our Synthesis Notes and completed the categories of Theme, Plot, and Style. You must get these notes from a classmate. On the back of the Synthesis Notes we answered these questions:Why is having a theme important? What examples can you find in the novel that support the theme of social inequality or another theme mentioned? Where are we in the plot so far: Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, or Resolution? Predict what the outcome of the novel will be. Finally, If you were to interview the author, what questions would you ask Harper Lee about her style (dialogue, imagery, symbols, etc.)?
Journal: Three important points/ideas from today’s lesson are . . .These are important because . . .
HW: Read Chapter 4 of TKAM and write 1 paragraph summary.

Silent Reading: Read LOTF for 6 minutes and write a 1 paragraph summary in your journal.
Classwork: Take T-Notes on Stanford Prison Experiment documentary. On left side of T-notes record observations (what you see and hear and what happens each day of the experiment). We watched about 20 minutes of the documentary and paused for notes. Next class, on the right side of T-Notes we will record what happens in the novel and compare/contrast the two.
Journal: What are the three most important observations you have made?
HW: BCR: What 2 forces may cause a person to do 'evil'? Explain each and give 1 example of each.
